Dilemma of Life

"In the mid-twentieth, in Bangkok, Thailand, the government wanted to build a large highway through a village. Yet in the path of the planned road was a Buddhist monastery with a little chapel, so they decided to relocate the monastery-including a heavy, eleven-foot clay statue of Buddha-to another place. Using a crane, the government workers moved the monastery in sections. When the workers transported the statue of the Buddha to the new location and began to lower it in place, however, the clay of the statue started to crumble and fall off. The people were afraid because this was a precious religious symbol to them and they didn't want it to be destroyed. Yet the more the workers tried to place the statue, the more it fell apart, until eventually, all the clay was falling off. Suddenly, the workers stared in amazement because, something unexpected was revealed: The statue was pure gold underneath. What we perceive may not be the reality of what it is

A quote from Dr Monroe, "I believe that many of us are living as clay vessels when, in reality, we are pure gold inside. A lack of purpose and unfulfilled potential is epidemic in our world. Yet just as the gold statue is hidden inside the clay one, the gold inside each of us is waiting to be revealed. The gold is the dreams we have-or once had- for our lives that are not yet reality, the gifts and talents that we have not yet developed, the purpose for our lives that is not yet fulfilled, that "something" we've always wanted to be or do but for some reason have not been able to accomplish. How do you remove the clay and uncover the gold within you ? And that is by living your dreams and life's vision so that the pure gold of your unique and personal gifts to this world can shine forth."

Everyone has a special set of skills that God has given and it is his due duty to shine forth

My friend,

I understand you're in a dilemma right now as to which path you're suppose to choose. You, against all odds, have chosen to stay in the path that is tough and has a strong failing rate. Not many people dare to take the challenge that you will be facing in the future. And i presume, that is one of the reasons why so many people have advice you to forfeit your current path in favor of the other so called more 'guaranteed' pathway.

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world. Jesse Jackson once said,"No one should negotiate their dreams. Dreams must be free to fly high. No government, no legislature, has a right to limit your dreams. You should never agree to surrender your dreams."

Dreams are meant to soar high freely

The path you have chosen is not an easy path. In fact, it is an uphill battle. There will be trials, tribulations, predicaments and life storms that will barrage you again and again and again. However, it is my wish that if you do indeed take this path that you have chosen, let it be for you that there will be no regret. Let it be for you that you'll look upon challenge in its face and declare victorious loudly against all odds. Let it be that you'll one day stand tall on the world stage and proudly claim that despite all that you have suffered and went through, you have not bowed down and give in to calamities and that you have conquered over all of them, not by luck, but by courage. Whatever course of life that you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of actions and follow it to an end, requires courage an above all, faith in yourself. Remember. brick walls are never there to stop you, brick walls are there to stop others. Do not follow a path that everyone has taken, instead; dare to embark on a new journey and step into where others have no trod on and one day, i guarantee you your shall make a name for yourself. The greatest glory in life is not in never failing, but in rising up every single time we fail.

I may not know what holds for you in your future but there is one thing i am sure of, with perseverance, patience and courage, you shall achieve and live your dreams. I've always believed in this principle that everyone can do a good job, but it takes a person of passion to do a great job. I know you have a passion in what you're doing right now; i know it is what you want for your life. It takes a people with the special passion, the unique skills and personality to be successful in their field. Therefore, work hard; keep your dreams alive. Do not let anyone, any person, any friends, any parents, any rules, any advices deter you from your God-given vision. For if you do, one day you shall look back in time and say,'what if i had' and that shall be another nostalgic 'what if' chapters of your life.

Understand this, my friend, to achieve anything, anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, dedication and perseverance. Remember all things are possible for those who believe. There's a saying, God will give anyone everything but at the price of everything. So if it is your dream to continue this path you have taken, be bold and say to the world i shall not fear you, i shall not go waywards from my dreams and i shall prove to you, by God and the world's standard, that i am special, that i am a success, by my own right, by my own ways, by own uniqueness and also, by God's Grace.

I am a success by my own, i shall not compromise my dream for anything

Life is like a flowing river, you don't get to step on the same water twice. Whatever decisions you make, despite all that others say, make sure it is of your own accord and from your own heart. For you alone are the master of your destiny; you alone are the captain, with God, of your life's voyage and no one, but you alone holds the reign to your own future. We're all on a one way ticket in life. There is no turning bac. Whatever decisions, let it be of your own. Dreams are like stars, you may never touch them, but if you follow them, they will lead to your destiny. Always aim for the moon, for even if you fall short, you'll be up on the stars.
