We started off with a Praise & Worship Session led by Alan, one of the ADFP ( American Degree Foundation Program ) seniors. Guess what, he's from Sibu too ! After that, we had an ice-breaking session before everyone adjourned for a pizza-dinner.
Alan and the 3 Spice Girls
Kelvin Lai leading the Ice Breaking Session ( Good job, Kelvin ! It was fun )
First, there was fun ( Teck Siang trying to untangle himself in the human knot )
Then, there was fun......
Then there was more fun to be had.........
Pizza dinner.... Domino's Pizza sure don't come any better
Lawrence posing with his pizza ( he must have been pizza-deprived for ages, that poor kid )
Teck Siang, Me and Kelvin Lai posing with our dinnerAfter half an hour and approximately 16.35 pizzas later *buuuuuuurp*, we settled down for a movie entitled "Fireproof".
Dark...scary... FUN !
Lawrence and Akira watching the movie, giving their full attentionIt was a very inspirational movie.
One of the phrases i love most in the movie is, "Fireproof doesn't mean the fire wouldn't come, it simply means that when the fire comes, you'll be able to withstand and resist it."
Fireproof doesn't mean the fire wouldn't come, it simply means that when the fire comes, you'll be able to withstand and resist it
I am almost, ALMOST touched to tears by the movie. The movie made me contemplate about a series of things that i've never, ever thought about before, which i am going to blog about it in another post.
It's 12.54 a.m. now and my eyelids are weighing in tons, so i think i will call it a night.
