Give and Take

Yesterday, i went down to Subang Jaya First Baptist church at 8.30 a.m.
Had breakfast at McD before making my way to 1st subang Jaya Boys' Brigade band practice which starts at 10 a.m.
After playing trumpet with them and exchanging notes, i went off to Subang Parade at 12 p.m. to meet up with some friends, Perry and Chris for lunch.
After that, made my way back to church again to join the Company Parade which starts at 2 p.m. and we had a Fire Prevention talk organized by the company for the juniors followed by a brief drill practice before letting the juniors have games.

Hahaha.. was playing hide and seek with them and chasing them all over the place at the carpark. I also played chinese animal chess with one Boy. I'd say his skills were good =)

Going to 1st Subang Parade made me miss my own old days when i used to hang out and did the same thing in Boys' Brigade. Back then, we would spend almost the entire weekend in Boys' Brigade.

We laughed and were laughed at.
We joked and got joked about.
We got punished. We punished others.
We got scolded. We scolded others.

but at the end of day, when i go back from Boys' Brigade, i could always feel the sense of contentment in me...

because it's always at the end of the day, when i looked back into the good times we had and the wonderful times we shared, and the value we add onto others and others onto us, it's that gave us the greatest satisfaction of all.

Can't always be the taker in life. Sometimes, you need to give to give yourself a sense of purpose.
Can't always be the giver in life. Sometimes, you need to take in order to have something to give.

A random and short post. Gosh.. i miss Boys' Brigade.
