Insanity Streak

Two words. Crazy. Week. And T.G.I ( Thank God It's ) Friday ! well.. almost...

It has only been like what ? 3 days into the week and i have managed to...

a) lost my friend's pendrive (sorry, manyfish =( )
b) almost lost another friend's pendrive
c) crashed my external disk
d) crashed my computer
e) almost lost all my files for Past Year Papers ( i am sure all A Level students would cringe at that thought )
f) broke the nose-pillow on one of my many spectacles

Goodness gracious.... *sigh*


Looking at the bright side...

a) bought a new 8GB pendrive for safekeeping of files
b) managed to load my computer after hitting a few times (anyone sponsoring a new one ?)
c) managed to download TWO folder-full of Chemistry Past Year papers
(yes! no more staring at the computer until late hours)
d) realize i did not screw up my examination (at least not too badly at the moment)
e) managed to lay my hands on January 2011 Papers (ah hahaha ! Yes ! Thank you, Ms Jellyfrog)
f) manage to annoy my Chemistry lecturer by pestering him for results.. (hiak hiak)
g) manage to finish my LAST biology report in my life in a record-breaking 4 hours
h) manage to befriend the technician in the Computer Lab at the Music Faculty (can't help it, after all, i DID spent almost 2 hours per day in the computer lab printing papers like crazy)
i) realize i need to be more alert of what i am doing



so... yeah... the week was unfolding to be a disaster, but i am enjoying it while it last because beyond all these troubles laid lessons for me to learn i.e. sharing

If i had not transferred my Biology files to a friend of mine...
If i had not transferred my Chemistry files to another friend of mine...

i might have lost all my files which i've spent a long time compiling and downloading from the internet... and now, all i have to do is to retrieve my files back from them XD

Praise the Lord for this ! =)

Also, my lecturer asked me if i am interested to attend a talk this coming Friday at the main campus,

"U may like to go 2 this, if you can get here. Professor John Seddon (Imperial UK), short lecture tour on his fields. He would be lecturing on X-ray diffraction, Optical and electron microscopy, calorimetry and solid state Nuclear Magnetic Resonance of structure and dynamics of liquid crystalline systems from lipid model membranes and surfacants to thermotropic liquid crystals and block co-polymers...."

*nervous laugh* soooo...err.. whadya say his lecture is about again ? haha..

Anyway, am so gonna go to this talk because it sounds pretty cool ! Anyone wanna follow ? =)
